NIKE UNVEIL PORTUGAL 15/16 AWAY KIT

Nike kick off their 2015 European replica game in electric style with the new Portugal away kit. Inspired by the team's fast-paced style of play the shirt goes back to black and features a unique speed graphic on the chest using vivid green and red light ray flashes.

There's always something special about a black kit for us and the green & red flashes taken from the Portuguese flag are the perfect finishing touches to give the shirt a sleek but distinct feel. The two colours creep in from opposite sides and are elevated on top of the black canvas, a popular colour previously worn by Portugal, most recently in the 2013/14 season.

A new Nike-specific streamlined, modern V–neck collar in black with a red ribbed band at the back adds a secondary pop of colour and inside the back of the neck is a pennant tab that features an armillary sphere, an ancient navigational device, to represent Portugal’s seafaring history. The tool has been a national symbol for more than 500 years and rests behind the Portuguese shield on the national flag.

The new Portugal away kit will be available from selected online stockists including Pro Soccer SA from March 21.

NIKE UNVEIL SOUTH AFRICA 2015 KITS

Nike and the South African Football Association introduce the new home and away national team football kits for the African Cup of Nations in January 2015.

Nike have revealed the new home and away uniforms for South Africa ahead of their opening African Cup of Nations match against Algeria on 19th January 2015. The gold home jersey features a classic, flat green collar with a single gold stripe running on the inside back of the neckline, as well as green cuffs on the sleeves.

The King Protea - South Africa's national flower - is emblazoned on the left chest, with the SAFA logo centred below the front of the v-neck. The South African flag rests on the outer back of the neck with a solid gold stripe running down the side of the green shorts. Gold socks with a bold green top cuff complete the home look. The away jersey in contrast, is green and paired with gold shorts and green socks that use the same template as the home strip.

"The new kits are very light and have a great fit,” says South African footballer Sibusiso Vilakazi.“The simplicity of the design and the use of the green and gold make these striking kits and I can't wait to play in them."

NEW BALANCE LIVERPOOL FC 15/16 HOME KIT

New Balance reveal their debut Liverpool FC home kit for the 2015/16 season inspired by Anfield's famous Kopites. Having taking over the reigns in the red half of Merseyside from Warrior, New Balance Football kicks off their partnership with the club in sleek style.

The chequerboard jacquard pulls inspiration from the flags and scarves that take over the Kop on matchday and is hinted throughout the shirt. A stripped back, all-white club crest sits inline with the NB logo and Standard Chartered sponsorship to create a clean and tidy look on the front of the jersey. An equally smart integrated collar and a tribute to the 96 on the rear complete a strong launch design for New Balance.

The LFC 15/16 shirt also provides the first look at what New Balance can off tech-wise to the replica game and the new kit incorporates NB Dry, a performance technology that keeps the body cool and dry during play. Moisture wicking fabric releases moisture away from the body, making it fast drying, and it's anatomically fitted to form around the player’s body shape for ease of movement.

ADIDAS 2015/16 AC MILAN HOME KIT

Long time partners adidas and AC Milan keep it classic as they launch the Rossoneri jersey for the 2015/16 season.

After joining forces way back in 1998, it's hard to remember an AC Milan jersey that didn't carry the three stripes. The latest adidas AC Milan jersey keeps it classic, paying tribute to the Rossoneri colours and traditions with a comeback to the standard traditional stripes - 5 black and 4 red. The design is a tribute to AC Milan's tradition, characterized by regular red and black stripes, reinterpreted in a modern key. And, more than in previous years, it embodies the connection between past, present and future.

The red colour featured in the stripes comes with a darker shade than in past seasons and with a melange effect that makes the jersey more elegant with a classic style through a traditional and stylish reinterpretation of the past. The three adidas stripes are grey in order to give greater uniformity to the rest of the jersey. The grey "AC Milan" embroidery is featured on the back of the black collar, written in Milan Type, the official font of the Club.

For the second consecutive year, in line with the classic style of the jersey and to highlight the strong reference to tradition, there is the Cross of St. George, a historical element in the city of Milan Crest. The current Milan logo stands out, tone on tone, within the Cross.

The new jersey is made of an ultralight adizero fabric, which enhances breathability while allowing enhanced freedom of movement and comfort without compromising elasticity and durability.

The 2015/16 AC Milan home jersey will be available from Sunday 10th May at select sport retail stores worldwide, including Pro Soccer SA.

BARCELONA 2015/16 HOME & AWAY KITS

Nike swap the club’s famed blue and red stripes for a hooped look, inspired by the Blaugrana flags seen on match days at Camp Nou.

FC Barcelona will play in a bold new home kit from Nike next season. The club’s famed blue and deep red stripes will be horizontal, inspired in the stripes on the Blaugrana flags held aloft on match days at Camp Nou. Horizontal stripes have previously been worn by FCB basketball, rugby and athletics teams, but this is the first time in the club’s long and rich history that the football team will don horizontal stripes.

The new kits pay tribute to the symbols of FC Barcelona’s heritage and identity. The instantly recognisable blue and deep red of the Blaugrana and the Senyera, in Catalonia’s proud golden yellow and red, are synonymous with both the club and the city.

The Senyera is embedded into the collar in a golden yellow trim with four thin red stripes around the outside of the shirt’s streamlined and modern v-neck. The inside of the collar features the club’s renowned motto, “Més Que Un Club”. The iconic Senyera flag, so central to the culture of the city and the club, infuses the new away kit, which is adorned with evocative colors and detailing.

The new away shirt is predominately golden yellow, a hue long associated with Catalan unity. On the back, four vertical red stripes on a golden yellow background run from the shoulders to the hem. This design is inspired in the way that FC Barcelona fans wear the Senyera around their necks as a cape in celebration and support.

INTER MILAN HOME KIT 15/16

A classic kit sees the return of the wide black and blue stripes, heralding the 25th anniversary landmark of the club's 1990-91 UEFA Cup triumph.

Italian style and culture shines through this tasteful kit that celebrates an iconic memory in Inter Milan history. A title that marked Inter Milan’s first European silverware since the Sixties, it sparked a remarkable run of success in the competition – in the space of seven seasons the club claimed three UEFA Cups, adding the 1993-94 and 1997-98 trophies.

As in 1990-91, this season Inter Milan’s home kit features striking black and blue stripes that are offset on the back against the front to create an eye-catching and subtly abstract look.

The shirt’s polo neck collar is in blue and black, again taking design cues from the kit worn by the triumphant 1990-91 team. There is a blue stripe on each of the shirt’s flanks, which continues down the sides of the home kit’s otherwise black shorts.

The Inter Milan home kit is available for pre-sale via the Nike Football App from May 28, and on sale from selected retailers including Pro Soccer SA from May 30.
